I have the honor to forward for Your Excellency's information a copy of a letter

which was

yesterday addressed by my orders to the Fearon a Merchant of this Place who

has interfered with the location selected for Naval purposes on Hong Kong and which I had, as I informed Your Excellency, directed Mr. Johnston under date the 11th of December 1841 to mark off and carefully reserve.

I have now requested Mr. Johnston to call
